Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Letter: A-Z Launcher (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App

Letter is a minimal Android home launcher published by Kaadan. It shows a clock, search, favorites, and an A–Z rail of launchable apps on your device. It is not a full replacement for every Android launcher feature (for example it does not provide widgets, icon packs, or a wallpaper picker).

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Android devices you own or control, for your own lawful use, subject to these Terms and Google Play’s terms.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer (except where the law allows), rent, or redistribute the App, or remove legal notices.

3. Purchase, refunds, and Google Play

If you buy Letter as a paid Play Store app, the purchase is a one-time download license processed by Google. Pricing, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, and family library rules are governed by Google Play, not by in-app subscriptions. We do not sell subscriptions inside Letter.

Refund requests must follow Google Play’s refund process. We cannot process card refunds ourselves.

4. Default home app

You choose whether Letter is the default Home/launcher. You can switch back to another launcher at any time in Android settings. We are not responsible for other apps, system UI, lock screen, or OEM changes that affect how Home works on your device.

5. Your responsibility

You are responsible for:

• which apps are installed on the device and which ones you open from Letter;
• confirming uninstall and other system dialogs Android shows;
• not using the App to violate law, other people’s rights, or Google Play policies;
• keeping the device and Android version reasonably up to date.

Letter lists apps already on the device. We do not control those apps’ content, age ratings, or privacy practices.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the App, interfere with others’ devices, attempt to bypass Play licensing, or use Letter in any way that is illegal where you use it. Export control laws may apply to software, including U.S. export rules.

7. Intellectual property

The App, name Letter, design, and related materials are owned by the publisher or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. Third-party app names and icons remain the property of their owners and appear only as installed on your device.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every Android device, ROM, or future Android version.

Some places do not allow certain warranty disclaimers. In those places, warranties last only as long as the law requires.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR DEVICE SETTINGS, EVEN IF WE WERE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE APP IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO DOWNLOAD LETTER DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR TEN U.S. DOLLARS (US $10), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example death or personal injury caused by negligence where such a limit is forbidden).

10. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how information is handled. It is part of how we operate the App; read it together with these Terms.

12. Changes and termination

We may update the App or these Terms. The updated Terms will be posted at this URL and the “Last updated” date will change. If you do not agree, stop using the App and uninstall it. We may stop offering the App or updates. Your license ends if you breach these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless the law of your country of residence requires otherwise for consumer contracts. Courts in a mutually convenient U.S. forum may hear disputes that are not resolved informally, without limiting any non-waivable consumer rights you have locally.

If a section is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
