Letter: A-Z Launcher · Package com.kaadan.applauncher
Privacy Policy
Effective date: 16 September 2026 · Last updated: 16 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Letter (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information. Letter is a local Android home launcher. We do not operate an account system, we do not run ads in the App, and we do not run our own analytics or crash-reporting servers.
1. Who we are
Letter is developed and published by Kaadan as a paid Android application on Google Play (package name com.kaadan.applauncher). For privacy questions, contact the developer at:
This policy applies to the Android app Letter: A-Z Launcher and to these web pages at reallifeleveling.space that host Letter’s legal documents. It does not apply to Real Life Leveling or other apps, which have their own policies.
2. Information the App uses on your device
Letter reads and stores information on your device so the launcher can work. This processing stays on the device unless you use Android backup features described below.
- Installed apps. Letter asks Android for launchable applications so it can show names, icons, and the A–Z rail, open an app, open App info, or start uninstall when you choose those actions. We do not upload your app list to our servers.
- Launcher settings. Theme, rail side, letter size, clock format, haptics, icon style, gestures, favorites, and similar choices are stored locally (Android DataStore / app files).
- Time and locale. The clock and date use your phone’s time, 12/24-hour setting (when Auto is selected), and language. That is displayed locally.
Letter does not require you to create an account. It does not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise location.
3. Permissions
Letter uses only permissions needed for a home launcher:
- Vibrate — optional haptic feedback you can turn off in Settings.
- Request delete packages — only if you choose Uninstall on an app; Android still shows the system confirmation.
- Query launchable apps — to list apps that have a launcher icon. Letter does not request the broad “query all packages” permission.
Android may show additional system screens when you set Letter as the default Home app. That is handled by the operating system, not by sending data to us.
4. What we do not collect
We do not collect, sell, or share personal information on our own servers. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, social logins, or in-app analytics SDKs in Letter. We do not sell your data.
5. Google Play and other third parties
If you buy Letter, Google processes the payment and related account data under Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not receive your full payment card number.
If you open Privacy Policy or Terms from Settings, your device’s browser loads these pages from this website. Your browser and hosting provider may process standard technical logs (for example IP address and user agent) according to their own policies. We do not use those pages to run advertising cookies for Letter.
If you enable Android backup / device-to-device transfer, Google or your device maker may copy Letter’s local settings with the rest of your backups. That transfer is controlled by Android and your Google Account settings, not by a Letter server.
6. Children
Letter is a general home launcher. It can list whatever apps are installed on the device, including apps not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not provide accounts or online profiles. Parents and guardians who allow a child to use a shared device should supervise which apps are installed. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us by email, contact us and we will delete that correspondence.
7. Data retention and deletion
Local settings remain on the device until you clear Letter’s storage or uninstall the App. Uninstalling Letter removes its local settings on that device. It does not uninstall your other apps. You can also change or remove favorites inside the App at any time.
8. Your choices and rights
You can turn haptics off, change theme and clock format, and remove favorites in Settings. You can stop using Letter by switching the default Home app in Android settings and uninstalling Letter.
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK, or certain U.S. states), you may have rights to access, delete, or object to processing of personal data. Because Letter does not keep a personal data account on our servers, there is typically no Letter profile to export. For Google Play purchase history or backup data, use Google’s tools. To ask a privacy question, email pjake6763@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable period, and in any event within the time required by applicable law.
9. Legal bases (EEA / UK / similar)
If data-protection law applies to on-device processing or to emails you send us:
- Contract. Processing needed to provide the launcher you installed (listing apps, storing your settings, opening apps you tap).
- Legitimate interests. Operating a local home screen, security of the App, and responding to support mail, balanced against your rights.
- Consent. Only where required (for example if you later enable an optional feature that needs it). The current App does not use advertising or tracking consent banners because it does not run ads or our own trackers.
- Legal obligation. If we must keep a support email to comply with law (for example a dispute or refund follow-up).
We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
10. California and similar U.S. state laws
We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics. If you are a California resident (or a resident of another state with similar rights) and believe we hold personal information about you (for example an email you sent), you may request access or deletion at pjake6763@gmail.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights. We may need to verify that the request comes from the email account that contacted us.
11. International users
The App runs on your device. These legal pages are hosted on the internet and may be served from servers outside your country. Do not email sensitive personal data unless needed for support.
12. Security
We design Letter so launcher preferences stay on-device. No method of storage is perfectly secure. Keep your device locked and install system updates. These HTTPS pages should be opened only from the official URLs below.
13. Changes
We may update this policy if Letter’s behavior or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change. Material changes will be posted here before or when an app update that changes data practices is published. If you do not agree with the updated policy, uninstall the App.
